Das Cape Mädchen is a Berlin-based brand with a strong identity and a loyal, engaged community. Our collaboration started with the development of their first summer capsule collections and has grown into a long-term creative partnership built on trust and shared vision.
My approach for each capsule was rooted in a deep understanding of the brand's universe and its customers — who they are, how they dress, and what they look for. Rather than imposing a creative direction from the outside, I worked from the inside out: listening to the brand, studying its community, and translating those insights into pieces that felt both fresh and entirely true to the Das Cape Mädchen world.
This customer-centred approach played a significant role in the commercial success of these collections — designing pieces that resonated because they were built around real needs and a genuine understanding of the woman wearing them.
